Christmas is normally my favorite time of year. I love baking and finding the perfect gift. But this year I really have not been looking forward to Christmas. At first it was because we would be spending it without Robert, he would have been born just before Christmas, possibly even by now.
Now we are expecting another baby and Christmas spirit is starting to come out, but the inevitable Hyperemesis Gravidarium (extreme morning sickness) is taking hold and it is hard to want to do anything. This new little one HATES sweets, so the idea of cooking them is hard.
But then something comes in the mail that just makes you smile and reminds that Christmas is not about YOU but about Jesus and giving. So you pull yourself out of the dole drums and do what you can to make Christmas perfect for everyone around you.
